A few ideas I started to play around with.

So I decided to add a bag to the underside of my platform after seeing a similar post in the forums.

Also finished my rope mod with Dan infalts buttons (ended up cutting the buttons down to work with the smaller diameter amsteel I am using.

Got to thinking why not attach them to the platform and add some straps for carrying in as a backpack.

Disclaimer I just grabbed a few things laying around such as the hawk stick straps for the back pack straps which I will change out.

Works pretty slick plus I am able to carry in my heavy layers by laying them between the two sticks behind the platform (so closer to my body when wearing as a pack)


Anyone else play with something similar?

I used bungee cords and it works quite well. I need to grab a one more to ensure it stays put during travel

I'll have to later when I have access to my phone. It's just an xop platform with 4 cut down api sticks strapped to it. I put a set of ALICE pack shoulder straps on it to carry it like a back pack.

I carry mine similarly. I also use the shoulder straps to hold 2 sticks as I climb. You can see some pics in this old post I did in the diy forum. Mine is xop, but maybe you will find the shoulder strap/stick carry helpful.
