Were visiting my family in Missouri this week, my Dad & I took my 13yr old Daughter to drive & look for new properties this morning. I’m going to do that more often, that kid is a natural. She really enjoyed herself, plus my Dad got to teach his granddaughter to use onX maps & figure landowners information. I’m not trying to plug a product, but will say it’s a definite advantage to know rough property lines & landowner name before you go to the door. So here’s where you’re kids can teach you something, my daughter made up some 5x7 note cards & had them printed at Walgreens (I’ll post a picture later). We spent about $25 all said. She suggested we leave them at the houses that had no one home. We got a call an hour into the trip from a land owner, we stopped back by to visit & he gave us access to some pretty prime ground. So basically, trip was a huge success on that front!!
