All,

Without buying a new holster, is there to a way to take your favorite outside the waist band holster with standard belt attachment (you have to disconnect belt and feed through holster slot) and make it so you can attach it to a belt or any horizontal piece of webbing (like a sewed on tight loop on a pack) quickly)?

Has anyone ran into an adapter or can think of a slick way to make one? I can think of ways to sew velcro on the back but for things like that (thick and hard to sew), I only hand sew so I'd like to avoid that if possible. Or I can think of clunky wants that will likely rub blisters on me and be slow/awkward (like using some Nite Ize gear ties). I should add that the holster in question is a soft nylon holster. So I can sew the thing or punch holes in it, etc.

You guys are the best DIY hunting guys I've found. So any ideas are welcome.

I'll add I don't want to buy a new holster because then I have to try to find one with the proper attachment that also checks all my other boxes. I've done some web searching, and haven't found much. Most of it is tactical forums where they are more concerned than I am with how it will look. This is strictly for bow hunting alone in case a black bear high on meth and growing pot wants to check out the deer quarters I'm packing out 2 miles at night.

I put this here instead of DIY section because it isn't a saddle specific question and so didn't want to clutter that subforum.

Thanks - R

Not sure if this will help, but I had Mike Isbell adapt my safariland into a chest rig. Works great!!
