Have you guys heard of, or used an adjustable red dot on your bow. I am struggling with seeing my pins with my eyes getting older and do not want to get a clarifier on my peep. I listened to a few podcasts and watched some reviews on youtube and everything has been really positive. No need to use a peep, and the sight automatically tells you if you are torquing your bow. Would love to hear some more reviews to help me decide to try one for next season.

Check out Average Jack Archery’s review of the ARD. I think it probably makes a lot of sense to use something like this for a lot of people.

They have a 10% discount for military fyi.

I have the apex covert pro on one of my bows and while on flat ground shooting level it is great but when up in the trees shooting downhill there’s is a considerable amount of glare on the glass if the sun is behind you. It’s the skyline behind that reflects off the glass and can make it impossible to see the spot you want to shoot. The green dot doesn’t disappear but the pinpoint placement goes away simply because you can’t see the exact spot the dot is on the target. Basically you are centering the dot inside the entire housing and then trying to center the target inside that. I bought a different sight hosting to eliminate the glass. YMMV just my 0.02$

no personal experience with the red dot, an EZV may be an option you may want to consider. I cant use my glasses while shooting, so the EZV works so much better for shooting than my pin sight. AJA also has a review on that sight, as well as others on youtube.
