What type of material are you guys using for Aiders? The width? Tubular?

I know length will vary depending on each individual rig.

What are you using to keep the foot part open and a bit rigid?

I used 1” tubular webbing with 7/16” rope inside of it to keep the steps open. Search for DIY Sportsman on YouTube and he has some really good videos explaining how it’s done

Just bought some 1" tubular webbing from him. Gonna do the exact same thing. Looks nice and simple and being ashort guy,I don't really benefit from 2 aider steps on one stick...can't get stick high enough.
