I listened to the advice from some the regulars on here and waited and ordered a kestrel for my first saddle. I was telling my dad about it and was telling him I need to find some strap on ameristeps for a platform. He goes on to tell me he bought some from a guy he worked with for real cheap. He digs out a 10 gallon tote packed full of them...28 of them still with tags on them and all stamped 02 and 03....bingo. now I'm just waiting on my saddle and a gift card I'm going to use to buy some helium sticks. Getting pumped...i think it's going to be game changer.

Nice find. You could probably pay for your saddle by selling them on this site and still have lots left over. I only have 5 and that is probably all I need. Congrats on the find.

Sell a few and you'll fund those sticks and any mods quick. Market is awesome right now to sell. They go for $10+ a piece this time of year.

He wants nothing to do with the saddle...got me thinking though. Could be good barter for a platform.
