I have not tried the amsteel rope mod to attach my sticks to the tree. I’ve tried versa straps, rope attachments and the classic buckle attachment.

For a beast stick Versa button , what size amsteel do you guys recommend? Also, what length for the amsteel attachment do you guys that use it prefer.? I was thinking either 6 or 8 feet.

I used 1/8 Amsteel made a daisy chain, made a couple 8+feet ,some big trees along a creek i hunt. Then the other ones were 7 feet

I used 7/64 for my daisy chains on my beast sticks. I used 1/8" for the daisy on my platform. Not much difference in size weight between the 2. I think if I did it over again I would use 1/8" on my sticks. The 7/64" has been working fine.

If doing Amsteel daisy chain it doesn’t really matter the size (down to 7/64, do they make smaller?) If doing rope mod I think 1/4 or maybe 3/16. Anything smaller and the loop won’t be thick enough to hold the rope behind it on the button. If doing daisy chains you can do them 6 ft long then connect 2 together if you need them longer. They are small and light enough to carry several.
