I have not worn an arm guard for years. I tend to shoot bow s with at least an 8 inch brace height. I would wear one if I had clothing that was bulky in the arm. I’ve had a string or two get caught in the guard when it was real bulky. I think I would just give the arm a couple wraps of vet tape now.

When I end up in bulky clothes I have an arm guard that goes up almost to my shoulder. It bends at the elbow. It's cloth and hard plastic. It's not jazzy but it works.

I never had much luck w/ the sleeve style but I really like the Cat Guard someone mentioned when wearing heavy layers. I like the nose button also for heavy clothes and masks...

I've always used a leather arm guard. Thunderhorn makes great ones, at a fair price, & Duane is good people!

I use half finger ragg wool gloves in cold weather, & a hand muff that goes around my waist, with a couple of HotHands heat packs inside. I shoot with a glove, & get them from American Leathers. I had John make a couple for me with extra-long wrist bands, so they would fit over the wrist of my wool glove. He's good people too!

I do too except in cold weather when I'm bulked up. The extended arm guards main purpose is really to keep my string from hitting the clothes.

Hey hey easy on the "sandals". Thems my hunt Crocs. I wear them driving to the woods, park, then change into my snake boots.
