Can anyone recommend a good app for arrow building? I’m looking to crunch some different numbers for an arrow/bow setup. Preferably a free one if possible? or anything reasonable is fine.

Archers Advantage. Best arrow building site there is. Cost around $13 a year but well worth it if you build arrows frequently.

The gold tip foc calculator is good and free. Archers Advantage is much better if you want to spend the money.

Tell us your draw length, draw weight, and rough ideas you’re thinking for arrow weight. Can get you in the ball park for free in ten seconds. Then you can do it in real life with a point of reference. Which is all those calculators are. They’re junk if you’re not on the bell curve of typical arrow builds.

47# draw weight, 27” draw length, and my arrows were around 350 grains last season I believe. I think I’m riding the line between a 400-500 arrow spine depending on broadhead weight.

If your broadheads are flying true, change nothing regardless of what the calculator says. I'm right on the line between 400 and 340, was thinking I should go to a 340 spine but the broadheads fly true with 400 spine so I'm not changing anything.

What arrows spine are you shooting now? Or are you changing something?

you are at the line according to the charts. But if you’re in that light of an arrow, I would imagine you can get the 500 to tune. If you don’t have 500’s, and you’re shooting 400’s, they’ll definitely tune.

If you have nothing and are starting from scratch, go with 400’s.
