I have one on my linesman and work great it’s just not as smooth operating as the ropeman

Honest opinion without getting butthurt? Nope. It appears to be, at first glance, Chinesium. No certs, the teeth appear to be chromed? and slippery, the side is stamped 100kg max but the features says max load 24kn? heck that's more than a ropeman which is a tested device, and this takes the cake:
"climbing grabs rope grab rope grab fall protection rope grab lanyard rope grab ascenderrope grab climb right rope grab heavy duty"
That looks like someone went to the craigslist school of bad posting. No thanks man. Stay away. A climbing device is NOT the place you want to save costs. Save your scratch and get a ropeman or Kong. Or heck a friction hitch. Just my thoughts.

I would go with a quality proven ascender & save $ in a different non-life threatening area

I have a petzl left handed ascender, madrock lifeguard and climbing rope for sale if you’re interested

I've run two. One on my LB and one on an adjustable bridge (backed up with a prussik). They work okay and have held my big butt, but I'll say this, I never ran them without them also having a prussiks hitch, thus basically turning the ascender into a prussiks tender. A way over priced tender. I would honestly recommend that you not buy them, because it is stamped on the side with a 100kg max weight. There were and have been times when my weight was solely on the ascender and they held fine (still backed up with a prussiks) but it didn't give me a warm and fuzzy.
