I have an issue going on with my shooting eye. Over the last 2 yrs its gone from perfect to crosshairs becoming S curves & hard to see my sight pins or target through my peep site. Id rather use my bow, over cross rifle, but it is becoming a problem. If I put readers on to shoot, I can make the pins out better, but then the target/animal is blurry. My optometrist asked if I was in a car crash or any head trauma, but that never happened. Apparently, my eye split down the area right over my lens, due to swelling. It caused scar tissue to form. No fixing it. Has anyone used a verifier? Just started reading about them. Not sure if it will help. Any help is always greatly appreciated.

You can now buy a red dot for your bow. It's pricey but it helps w/cross dominance and may help you. I use them on my pistols and they are the ticket. Just an idea.

Would that be similar to the crosshair bowsights that u have to adjust the distance?

I always had trouble with pin and peep style sights. I switched to an Adjustable Red Dot sight this year and am sooooo happy I made the switch. And btw, I’m in no way affiliated with this company. I just really dig it. Give it a look!

Do you shoot both eyes open or one? would something like the EZ-V make it easier to focus on the target and just have something kinda blurry to frame your range off of?
With just 1 eye

With just 1 eye
I feel like shooting with two eyes opens and a simple sight like the EZ-v will be your best option. It's definitely a big switch for mid season, but if your current sighting system isn't working for you then your not out much by switching.
Another option would be to take a cheap pair of readers and knock the lens out of the eye you have closed and seeing if you can shooting with two eyes open that way. it would be a cheap way of seeing if a clarifier(or verifier, I can't keep those two straight) in your peep and shooting with two eyes open would work out.
