Does anyone have any ideas for an air tight bag/container that would fit climbing sticks? This is one thing I have been struggling to find. Last year I kept them in a heavy duty garbage bag that was bungee'd and sprayed them down every trip but I know I can do better.

Don't they make some big ziplocs or vacuum storage bags for storing pillows and quilts? That's all I can think of in a bag.

Cabelas carried a tote that was called Iris storage container or something like that. I have one and it has a rubber gasket under the lid with heavy duty snaps. I think it's the same tote as the scent lok tote but without the decals. They don't carry it any more but I seen at academy the other day one very similar with Remington decals on it.

This is it. The top is heavy duty too where you can even sit on it.

They are also sold on Amazon too. They are really nice and superheavy duty. I have three of them that I used to store all of my hunting gear and then I want to keep Scent free. I am 230 pounds and I sit on them and I also will stand on the lids to if I am changing clothes at my car

I would have to double check to see if the Lonewolf sticks would fit I might be able to do it for you guys later on today and take a picture or two.

Thanks for the input guys. I have a few of those containers but my sticks don't fit into them so I'm looking for more options.

I am concerned about the durability of those vacuum storage bags if I use them for climbing sticks.

At one time when those iris tote were sold at cabelas, there was a bigger model that I'm sure they would fit in. I just suggested the vacuum bags since you said you were using a garbage bag. I knew they would be an upgrade. What about a bag like they use in fishing tournaments to bring the bass alive to the scale. They are reinforced with a thread grid pattern. There has to be a bag out there. You could use an old corn sack for strength then a plastic bag over that to seal it. Or something like those waterproof stuff sacks, but they won't be air tight. Just a direction to explore.

I had my hunting gear in it in the boat and had a boating accident. It flew out and tumbled across the water till it stopped and floated. Never opened or I would have lost all my stuff. It paid for itself that day.

Still exploring this idea more. Ordered some of the heavy duty ziplok ones but they ended up being just short. I'm exploring some larger options now but I'm concerned with the durability.

Just ordered some bigger ones from ebay to try out...
