Big Dog Hunting Climbing Sticks

Never heard of 'em. Like you said, there's potential to cut them down and lighten them up. Would make a good cheap practice set for someone who's not ready to cut their more expensive sticks yet. They're actually not that much cheaper than Heliums. If this were gonna be my only set of sticks I'd pay a little more for a proven (and well reviewed) stick. Just my initial thoughts at first glance.... Hopefully someone here has some experience with them and can chime in.

They are steel and weigh 5 lbs each if they are the same ones I was looking at.

The big dog stands I have used in the past have been of a very good quality.

It says item weight is 2.2lbs. But shipping weight is over 20lbs? How heavy is the strap! Something there is inaccurate.

Hmm. I like the direction they're going with these. Everyone else is in a race to the bottom... Big Dog cares nothing about our puny lightweighting.

I was just browsing and stumbled upon these and figured I'd share! For the work you'd have to put into them to lighten them up and what not, I'm sure Heliums would be the better choice! But options are out there for someone that's willing to do a little work.
