Seeing some deals on new 50# lefty Hunter Recurve for $250. Has anyone shot one? Worth it at that price?

I have the slick stick longbow and I very much like it for what it’s worth. I’ve killed one deer with it. It’s pretty quiet.2250F72F-9C26-4313-A978-E27958D289B1.jpegF598948E-FB7C-4C05-AEBF-66CE555B7192.jpeg

Has anyone shot a quick stick, hunter stick or other and can tell much difference from the slick stick? What about the sister recurve versions of these bows?AE6C92B2-3EAB-42CE-BB89-3EAB0E6E8E4E.jpeg

Did you have the recurve or the longbow hunter?
I’ve shot the recurve at a 3D shoot. Very much liked it and would have bought the one on kustom king if I could justify it. I’ve been eyeballing their lefty Dakota for years also down to one lefty in stock for about 260. Was looking at both last night.

I had a Helms Deep carbon recurve which is similar to a shrew, I liked it very much but I can’t compare to a longbow like yours. It carried great in the woods and was compact for ground hunts.
at that price it seems a good way to try that style and decide if it suits you.
I’m about a 29” draw and I wouldn’t go shorter than 56” if I was shopping for one

I regret selling so many bows. The Fox Triple Crown was one of them. If I only shot or prefered longbow it would look like that.(followed by 21st century)
I think Tim Miggs was first in that riser design with the Duoflex.
I think Bodnik makes a similar model now.
A bit pricey tho.

I looked over the Bodnik webpage and saw the Redman recurve.
Have any of you tried or owned one?
