Hey Guys-So this will be my first season using a saddle. I have done a couple practice sits now and am really loving how it feels. Only thing I have noticed is my feet are kind of sore, now I have been in my work boots since I have just been practicing in my back yard, but was curious if anyone had any good recommendations for boots for this style of hunting. I also was thinking could just be the fact that this is a new style and could take a little more getting used to. Let me know what you guys have experienced, any feedback would be much appreciated!!

This has been discussed here before - try the search function. The gist is to use a stiff-soled boot or a stiff inner sole like superfeet.

I wear the Lacrosse 4x alpha snake boots , I hunt mostly bottom lands full of cotton mouths . I have found them to be comfortable for the 1/2 mile walk in and for climbing the sticks. I will say after the hunt my socks are sweaty so I bring and keep a change of socks in the truck for after the hunt . I will also add my terrain is not rocky or dry , I’m often passing through water and brush . I can’t recommend a boot for rocky or dry terrain but for the wet stuff I love the alphas 4x

I use Rocky Snake boots and when it gets cold switch to Guide Gear 2400 thinsulate. I haven't had any problems with sore feet, only cold feet from being born too long ago.

I use the schnee 6" Mid boot with snake proof gators. When it gets cold I switch to insulated gators. If it is raining or wet I wear 16" firemens boots. They have steel shanks made for climbing ladders. Waterproof, snake proof, warm, comfortable.
