Can you use ratchet strap webbing for anything?

I made a HYS Strap out of ratchet strap for hanging my gear from and a shoulder carry strap for my sticks. I wouldn’t use it for any climbing applications.
 
They are not all created equal....I have used for aider in the past but no longer... The strap should have a tag giving load ratings.. gear hanger strap is another use I can think of off the top of my head for the flimsy 1s

I save old straps to use for sewing projects
