Carabiners for bridge

The 12 Kn load rating on that biner is half of the typical climbing biners that most of us here use. I personally would not trust it.

Get some name brand climbing carabiners. Open country, black diamond etc

Doublesteps.com sells climbing rated very compact biners at a similar price point. They are smaller than the black diamonds and fusions I have received with my saddles. And cheaper

There are lots of climbing rated locking biners from reputable companies in the 37-42g range and similar price. Don't cut your margins to 12kn (and who knows what minor-axis loaded) from a nobody company.

I’m using metolius bravo locking carabiner. They are cheap, light, and compact. They are also rated to 24kn.

Awesome! These are available in store at the REI here so I'll check them out today.

Thanks all for the feedbacks. The goal I was aiming for here is not cheap but mainly small and compact. I knew the first one was going to be a risk but wanted to get opinions as well to confirm just how much of a risk. Still being new to this, it's a little hard to tell sometimes where the safe boundaries are. Now that some suitable alternatives have been given, hope this post serves as a good resource for other newbs of this specific delima.
