I didn't know this so maybe I am not the only one. Apparently muck boots have more than one sole available. I just bought my first saddle so I haven't hunted it yet. It has been raining here and I went bow hunting this evening while wearing my new muddy woodsy boots. I stepped onto my millenium lock on stand and it was like stepping on ice. I managed to hunt and get down at dark without falling. When I got home I needed to feed my squirrel dogs and went to my outbuilding which has a wooden ramp, to get dog food. My feet flew out from under me and I fell flat on my back. First off, it always pays to check equipment beforehand and I hadn't. Be sure that if you have muck boots, you have the boots with the sole that isn't supposed to be slippery. I only found out about the other soles after doing an on line search after nearly breaking my neck. I am just hoping this post might prevent someone from being hurt! I attached a pic of the sole I have.
