Well, as I can attest, based on last night's experience, if you pull your camera card and plan on looking at it in your tree, and then drop you sim card while replacing your memory card, you can spend the whole night with a non connected phone. Thankfully I was able to find it when I got down in the dark

Maybe that's it. I was trying it on 9mm sterling htp. It's in spec but at the bottom end.
