Been checking out different climbing techniques lately wondering on what you guys like running? What style and why and type of equipment you use for each method? Pros and cons that you found in trying these methods.

Rock climbing harness
Fleece saddle
30’ tether
1 standard Helium stick
Ring of steps.
1 home made aider
Safeguard (to replace ropeman for up and figure 8 for down)
Tibloc for foot side of SRT
Pulley for foot side of SRT

I also carry a lineman belt which will have the ropeman.

2 or 3 home made prusik loops ready to use as needed.

Various locking caribiners.

50’ orange paracord with non-locking caribiners for haul line and rope retrieving.

Throw line with 16oz bag.

As you can probably tell I mix it up between SRT and single stick to go up and I always rappel down.

Momentum harness from black diamond
4 locking carabiners
3 accessory carabiners
60ft 10.5mm static rope
Mad dog safegard used in Place of a grigri.

2 Prusik knocks that I move around for a verity of different purposes.

Linemen’s belt.

Sitdrag saddle also have just made a fleece saddle still working on it.

Made a adjustable foot step for the srs climbing using a old strap. I hook it up to the prussic knot that I tie around the rope above the lifeguard. I use it in place of a hand ascender.
Throw line and a 8oz throw ball.
I use srs and drt to Climb up the tree. It’s more of a rad climbing system. As you can tell I tried saving were I can.
Climbing up and down is easy with this system also once set in the tree you can use the same line you climbed up on aa Your tether.
Cons getting the throw ball in the tree can be a big pain in the butt. But once you have a line in place your golden.

I use RADS or YoYo. Really only two devices, an ascender and a belay device(progress capture device).
