Been trying a few new climbing methods for this year and timing myself. I am slow with my most comfortable method. Would a 20 minute climb be a deal breaker for you guys?

Whatever gets you up and down safely is all that matters. Its not a race. If you know how long it takes you then just figure out what time you need to be at your tree and you know how long it takes you to climb. The more you practice, the faster and easier it will get and will decrease your time. Again its not a race. Be safe.

Absolutely - when we race we forget things or get lax - climbing AND descending need our utmost attention and clarity. I’ll take twice as long as I need to if it means a safe travel up and down a tree.

I've been using them WE Stepps for a year now and I'm still climbing around that time. I like going in early anyway so it doesn't bother me. Slow and easy will hunt another day. With efficiency and confidence we'll get better.
