any thoughts/tactics on hunting on heavy cloudy cool days when no sun?
 
No different than a sunny day. I prefer a cloudy day seem like there’s more deer movement on an overcast. JMO.

I like the cloudy days too. To me woods seem quieter.
 
Quitting time comes earlier because you can’t see as long.
