Because of course...

Hunting is my refuge from all ... most ... SOME of the crazy out there, so I don't care to start a big hoopla about shots, masks, etc here.

But if knowing deer could get the sniffle keeps some other hunters out of the woods, I'll share it :)

Also, I wonder if their sense of smell goes away maybe? Ooo.

We laugh until you consider the angle of shutting down a food source, eliminating “hunting” guns, and turn what’s left of athletic, healthy males into couch spuds. If you don’t think it’s been thought of, you need to start thinking harder. All about control. The seeds are being sown.

I completely agree. But I'm not sure we can take this discussion in certain directions or the mods will lock it for being political.
I could imagine that the powers that be would restrict transport of game and commercial processing. They'd probably prohibit donating to food banks, too.

They already do this with CWD so if the story gets legs, it wouldn't surprise me in the least. All the more reason to do your own processing but it will hurt the food banks.

It will be interesting to see if they come up with a method of "transmission". I am having a hard time understanding how it is getting transmitted to wild populations? It would seem that to have it spread that widely in wild populations it would almost have to be mechanically or had manmade help to spread like this. Anyone remember the unmarked, unidentified drones flying over eastern Colorado and western Nebraska a while back that no one knew who owned them, why they were flying patterns out there? Did we ever figure that out?

Just sayin.....

Every year people pick up fawns and illegally raise them. I can totally see how a person would give COVID to a wild fawn that is released into the wild population and spread the virus.

Transmission could be as easy as someone was eating an apple, tossed the core in the woods. Along came a deer.
Didn't they say dogs were getting it in the beginning? Check all the mammals. Possible they all have had it. Maybe that why they call it Heard immunity.........

I have it all figured out...
We toss a used face diaper in the trash, and the coons get infected from rooting in our garbage cans and then the coons pass it on to the deer by inappropriate behavior (kissing as shown in this pic). Oooo, look, she has her eye closed in passion. Photos don't lie...here's all the proof you need.

take the fun out of conspiracy thoughts why don't ya.....

It is supposed to be airborne transmission, not sure an apple core or snot rag would be as transmissible. Still not picking up anyone else's used snot rag though...
