Let’s see some photos of all those good times at your deer camps over the years. Preferably with a story!
I’ll go first. This year my early rut deer camp was pretty special as I had my family! I have a 18month old son that is super awesome and is totally a daddy’s boy. Anyway my first day hunting was a bust. Not cuz the pouring rain but because of how much hunting pressure there was that day! Dogs and hikers everywhere! Long story short the next day I decided to spend time with my family instead of sitting in a stand for 12 hrs. We ended up having a blast taking my boy hiking and checking out some sights! On my way home I checked the hunters logs and noticed a 3x4 was taken on my bust day in the same unit I was hunting and a 2x2 was taken the day I spent with my family in a unit I was going to hit up if I didn’t do family day. But honestly I don’t regret anything and was pumped to see my boy be such a trooper and ramble with us. Can’t wait till I can start taking him actually hunting and put him on some animals!
