I'm new to saddle hunting never been in one ( mine should be here in a few weeks). I have been thinking about trying spurs for my climbing method. My boss said he had a set and I looked at them. I gave 100$ for them there Buckingham. And look what I believe in good condition. Did I get a good deal or did I offer to much.

I think you got a good deal...I might be selling my climbrites for double that in the next couple of weeks. As soon as it is decent weather and I get a chance to see if I can use them.

Yup, I think $100 is a good price. Adjust the length for your legs, try them out and see if you like them and how comfortable they are. Those look like L pads which don’t offer the most support but you might find you like them ok just for climbing up and down. You also will probably want to look at the strap mods that a lot of us here have done - replacing those jangly belt straps with webbing and side lock buckles, g buckles and/or cam lock buckles. Makes putting them on and taking them off faster and quieter.

Like I said, try them out before you decide on mods. Lots of good ideas on spurs on here.

I have the same spurs and I paid more. I'm happy with them. I'm always trying new climbing methods but I'll definitely hang onto them. They've been good spurs to learn on for me. First thing I did was get rid of the leather straps and replaced them with webbing and quick release buckles.

Those are good spurs. I had a set with the bigger t pads and they were super comfortable to climb in. I would upgrade the pads because those L pads are a little tough on your legs. Either get the T pads or splurge for the aluminum pads. You got those for less than half price

I had a pair and paid $175 new TMD. They were L pads also.
