DIY platform flex

I have a DIY platform with a lone wolf original seat and xop seat cam down method platform. The lone wolf does not have hardly any flex when stood on. The xop seat flexes a pretty good bit, but it is larger. Both post are are super sturdy to tree. How much flex is acceptable or is it normal?

That is the reason I recommend a commercially made platform. The diy lone wolf/ xop were the best option because there were no other options. The very first one I saw was at the first saddlepalooza. After seeing how much it flexed with 200lb hunters didn’t even want to try it. Plenty of available options out there now.

Couldn’t agree more..... there are a bunch of available options now. A few years ago there weren’t & the above was a better option, now that’s not the case.
