Hi there, I’m looking to add some versa buttons to sticks and I was curious what size bolt, aluminum spacer and washer you ladies and gents preferred or used yourself?

5/16 stainless bolt, washer, nylon spacer, nylon nut.

I cut my spacers down to 1/2 inch because I use daisy chain Amsteel and don’t need much length. 3/4 should be ok for a 1/4 Amsteel rope mod, maybe up to an inch if you are using standard style straps.

Honestly it’s cheaper to purchase from DanO. Unless you just want to DIY
Use a 1.1/4 x1/4 fender washer a 1/4 x 3/8x 3/8 spacer (I think) and a 1/4-20 grade 8 bolt x 1.1/2 long with a nylon nut

Do you think you could have cut down your spacers more then half inch or was that plenty for clearance between the bolt head and the next stick stacked on top? I’m switching to 7/64 daisy chains. I’m also thinking about switching to a 3/4 or 1/2 fender washer and have my daisy chain loops 1”. Think this would work?

Half inch was plenty when stacking sticks. You could prob go slightly lower profile if you just wanted to. All that stuff is cheap and easy to change. Just give it a try and practice a bit and use your best judgment. Stay safe bud
