Safety first!The 2" polyester webbing I'm using has a break strength of 12,000 LBS. I sewed this saddle with size 207 / text 210 bonded polyester thread that has an average strength of 31 LBS. There are 8 separate box stitches per webbing loop. Each webbing loop took about 2 bobbins of thread. This is probably over kill, but I feel that is was necessary.
