does anyone use string wax on their bridge

Back in the olden days (10 years ago), Trophy Line advised to use canning wax (paraffin wax) on your bridge and tether to let it slide better. I used it with my old ambush saddle and it worked plus it helped protect it from rain, etc. I wouldn’t be afraid to use it on amsteel or my webbing bridge, if desired.

You can find this wax at Walmart and other places branded as Gulf Wax.
