A month or two ago, I picked up a Wild Edge aider from Red Squirrel. I played with it thinking it might be something I'd use this year.
In the mean time, we're dog sitting for our daughter. I wasn't done playing with the aider and placed it on a chair in out dining room. While no one was looking the dog happened to find the rope and decided it was a chew toy.
The moral to the story is, put your stuff away when you're done with it.
