My main use will be for when filming family and friends hunts, this should be much easier to get up in the same tree as the hunter without having to hang another stand on the wrong side of the tree and being uncomfortable the whole time.

Made with Cordura fabric and 2" webbing for the load bearing portions. Started stitching with the speedy stitcher and 60lb braid, then finally talked my mother into using her old sewing machine with 30lb braid. Plan is to sew in the cheap Webbing rock climbing harness that I will use as a waist belt / backup safety that will hook to the second prusik on my tether. So far I have bounced around in this in the front yard and everything seems pretty solid.

Let me know if you see any glaring errors.

As long as you wear the rock harness and it is attached to the tether you are good to go. I personally wouldn’t sew the harness to the sling. You will want to move it up and down at times and sewing it to the harness makes it fixed

Went ahead and sewed the RCH in place and I dont think it will be an issue. It acts as my waist belt this way also. If you need to adjust it up or down just loosen the belt and slide it just like you would a regular waist belt. Stitched up a few accessory pouches and it's ready to rock.
