Well, me and @BrowninG77 took advantage of the blistering heat and sat in the shade for a bit. 96° heat didn't keep us at the house. Sitting in the same tree @BrowninG77 scored first, then we did a switcheroo and about 30 min later I got to put a meat missile through one. Always fun having your best friend hanging around with ya, specially in the saddle. Screenshot_20191002-222118_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20191002-222219_Gallery.jpg

Brought another meaning to the term “hot doe” came within bow range. Mr. Price came up with a perfect game plan despite the heat and it worked out flawlessly. So thankful for my brother allowing me to share the evening hunt at his place. Made some awesome memories on this double up!!!

Congrats. I like the way the Thermacell is connected to the tether. Thermacells are designed to run horizontally like in your picture. I have burned up a few over the years and I suspect it is from letting them hang vertically.

Small concern. It looks like one the Amsteel bridge is tied and not spliced maybe? Splicing is so easy and much safer with Amsteel. Just an observation- not trying to be critical.

It's not amstel. We use rock climbing harnesses and a sit drag. Its para 1100. Know it's not suppose to be used for it but I may drop 2" before the harness catches me. Thank you for being concerned.
Also, we've ran into thermacells burning up because they wasn't horizontal. Just a little paracord and its fixed

And here is mine. Gotta listen because the video went black for some reason. Hear the arrow pass thru and the crash! Hate that it didn't film, it woulda been my first recurve kill on film. Gotten other kills with the recurve but that woulda been sweet
