It has two separate splices, one for each eye.
I’ve recently changed my mind about a full bury having twice the strength of the rope. It may near the eye, as both sides are being loaded, but the further away the ”cover” starts to stretch less, while the “core” continues to take the load, to the point it takes all the load and parts at its break strength.

The break strength of Oplux is 5440 lbs from Sterling’s website, there has to be some strength loss with sewn eyes, which I’m assuming you have. Now you've got me wondering about the working load limit on my 8mm oplux bridge. All I can seem to find is the max break strength of 5400lbs, but can't find anything on working load limits.
