Hi,

I'm sure you are all familiar with these types of attachments.

I have a line of webbing loops running down my pack. I might attach some of these bungee loops to that webbing. When not in use, I'd like to be able to stow the bungee loops flat to the pack so they aren't flapping around and I don't have to remove the bungee loops if my setup for the day doesn't call for them.

I'd get some EWO kydex clips, but even with the ol' heat up in water and bend to shape trick, I'm not sure they will securely hold 4 strands of bungee cord where each strand is around 1/8" diameter (due to v shape of channel and smallish height).

Any ideas? I guess I could order my own kydex and make my own by learning more about bending the stuff.

Any products I'm missing?

Make your own.
Bungee. Plastic ball. Spring loaded cord lock.
poor description to follow.
Put the bungee cord through the molle webbing loops on your pack.
make a loop with the bungee cord
pull the bungee cord through plastic ball
put the spring loaded cord lock on the very end.

when needed, push the spring loaded cord lock all the way down and open bungee cord all the way open. Functions like normal.

when not needed, pull cords all the way through, plastic ball will be cinched up to molle webbing and not be flopping around.

Thanks, interesting idea, but will that make the elastic cord loop upward away from the pack? I'd like it the cord and everything to lay flat to the pack. I didn't mention it but I'll have a platform on there that I need to remove by just reaching behind me with pack on in the tree, and I don't want anything snagging that.

I probably didn't do a great job describing it. From an attachment point, I'll have 4 cords emerging. I'll take one of those bungee loops I linked and slide it halfway under the webbing on my pack and then fold over and tie a knot (probably not a square knot but similar). So each side will be sticking out and there will be 4 elastic cords.

Picture would be helpful. Otherwise this is like tailgunner and tailgunner.

I just have an overhand holding it on temporarily for the photo. I might use the same overhand, since it is so flat, and then put a mini-zip tie tight over the overhand to lock it in place. I don't need the bungees to be oriented in the directions they are now when locked down. In fact, I prefer for them both to be pulled down flat and attached in the same direction/at same point to make it quicker/less stuff on pack. Also, the location of that bungee is not necessarily the final location on the pack once I finish "Jenga-ing" everything. In fact, it will probably be moved up a bit, come to think of it, but this location provided the clearest view for now.

May I suggest making your own from shock cord and wine bottle corks? They work well. There are a few pictures in @kyler1945's recent thread about shock cord and zip ties.

Yes it’s a slotted quick Molle attachment for 3/4” or 1” webbing.

I should've added to my original post, but that orange webbing is on the thin side and 3/4".

Are those on your website or do you have a link?

I use the heck out of these for all kinds of things. If your application fits this spacing, you might space them apart so you can attach one to the other and they'll keep each other from tangling on stuff.
