noxninja admits to being a little slow...as stated earlier my rock climbing harness has done nothing but sped my ascent/descent with the web aider. Last week there was a bit of frustration on the preacher stand set up technique, but since Nate had me indoors today (not to mention The Boss Hen and Poults being out of town), I had plenty of time to think. I was planning on using to individual tethers one for the harness and one for the stand, so when I reached climbing height all I had to do was adjust the stand tether....but I was not happy with that at all....so an idea from @justsomedude as well as @diysportsman got me to thinking further.

I took my other ropeman 1 and large biner and placed it high on the tether, then took another ropeman 1 along with another large biner below it. I hooked the harness in the bottom one and when I reached my climb I attached my sit/ drag to the top one and lowered myself into the sit/drag. noxninja now knows that this same technique will work with the preacher stand and is as giddy as a school girl, but without the skirt.

That's basically what I do except my climbing harness is hooked to a Prussik and my sit drag is on a rope man 1..... for the shear fact that I currently only have 1 ropeman.

Another reason to like saddle hunting! Was wondering if i could do the same thing with my preachers seat and climbing harness.
