Fess up, who hasn't shot their bow since last season ended?

Had em both out for a short bit this weekend. Felt good, should do it more.

For me it's not the shooting that's the chore, it's the putting everything in my truck, driving to the local range, setting up a target, and then packing everything up afterward etc that's the chore. The shooting is fun. I don't have a very large yard but need to put the work into making a better shooting area/backstop at home so I can just walk outside to remove this part of the equation.

Yea that’s an unfortunate inconvenience that does make it a lot harder to just shoot whenever you’d like. I use to live walking distance to an archery park. That was a real treat.

Turkeys evoke emotions in me that make me want to drop to hand of God down on them. Just can’t get that with an arrow, lol.
No truer words sir. I have killed them with a bow but absolutely nothing beats blowing their face apart at as close as possible. I shot one at 3 steps this year with the 410. It was awesome. lol.

Why you gotta call out a fella that way? I feel attacked. Also, since I shoot an xbow I have an excuse, I can’t shoot in the basement anymore.(bolts go through the bag and backstop). Low wife approval factor there.

I tore mine down after season was over and sent it to be hydrodipped. Got it back awhile ago, put it all together, and just this week have started the tuning process so I can start shooting daily again.
