I hunt a management property. I droped poundage last year when I bought a new bow. I switched to 125 VPA 3 blade broadheads and harvested 3 for 3 deer in two hunts. This year I thought I would try the new VPA 125 Omega left single bevel.Last week I shot an eight six pound doe at 22 yards. I was up 25 feet in my saddle. The shot was a quartering away shot. The arrow entered at the second rib from the diaphram, double lunged and cut the top of the heart and exited the front shoulder. The deer traveled 60 yards before it expired. Not much of a blood trail. Did not matter due to watching the deer fall. All four deer had complete pass throughs. I am of the opinion the three blade broadheads cause more bleeding.
