A buddy and I were hunting a special opportunity area put on by the state of Alabama. We were covered up in deer this morning. I was waiting on a buck but I said if this deer is dumb enough to give me a shot two times in a row I’ll take a doe. Well she came into range, left and came back. She came in to about 15 yards and stood behind a tree for what felt like 5 minutes while I was at full draw. She finally peaked out the other side and I let her have it. At the same time another doe and two fawns were walking in. I was hunting out of a fleece saddle I made from Walmart. The platform was a couple of 2x4s and a strap.
