first time out w/ the new h2

I went on a 4 day hunt with my new saddle from H2, and for the first hunt I absolutely hated it. It felt like I had barbed wire around each thigh, it seemed like I was doing an isometric work out the entire time. I decided to re locate the next day to a bit larger tree, That made a huge difference, as my knees were not falling of to the side of the tree all the time, I eventually got comfortable and confident and by the 4th day, in the early morning , I almost dozed off. so , I am keeping it and am well satisfied with the H2 saddle made here in mi. with (at the time) about a 20 day delivery time Kudos to H2 a great product and good price point

So the only change was the tree? I often straddle the tree. What size did you get and what is your waist size?

I ask bc I got a medium and am about 34-35 waist which puts me near the next size up.

i am about 33,, so got medium but the first tree I got in, when I tried sitting, with my knees to the tree, there was hardly enough room for both of them , so I sat there trying to squeeze my knees together constantly,. so if I relaxed them one would slip off. so the next tree was a little bigger then a basket ball in width, and was better

I have a 34”/35” waist and got a large. I have a ton of extra waist belt. I feared hip pinch, so I went up a size. It is well made. I would rate it slightly less comfortable than my original TL saddles. I’m back in fleece for now-just can’t beat the comfort for all day rut sits. Might give the H2 another shot at some point.
