First time saddle hunter

I bought my first saddle from a friend recently. It's a trophy line with the mesh seat. He also threw in the ratchet strap with 4-5 ameristep strap on stree steps. I'm excited to get out there and start practicing my bow with it.

My question : Do most all of you who own the trophy line cut the shoulder harness system out ?

Probably gonna change out my tether to a rope figure 8 system with Prussik.

What other customizations would you make right off the bat?

I like the suspenders personally. I added a mole sack, couple simple rope loops to hang my sticks from while I'm climbing.

Are the suspenders made from the same webbing that is used throughout the saddle or are they the stretchy ones with the plastic buckles??

I cut mine off and put a set of shoulder straps on for a tool belt...would like to also change out the tether system for a rope system...but need ideas on how to go about it,new to this new stuff
