Welcome aboard

Airborne !! Thanks for your service. I did some research and then jumped in to all things tethered, with wild edge steps, with aiders and naiders to get aloft. I love my mantis it's comfortable. I've done tree work for years, Navaho harness and along time ago my trusty Weaver, and I now climb for my Fish and Wildlife agency here in MA doing eagle banding work. Doing the research was half the fun. Welcome.

I completely overlooked the currently in Louisiana portion of the title. Where in Louisiana are you located? I’m outside of Baton Rouge but hunt in Tensas and Madison parish along the Mississippi River.

I'm in the same boat as you. Uncle Sam makes me learn new areas every few years. Nothing beats the versatility of a saddle. Have fun!
