Most of my sits are 6+ hours. Im all about trying to keep the ground scent to a minimum in a good spot. I will change position rarely which would be from a more observation sit to a “kill” sit.
I hunt out of state alot. Where I in season scout/ hunt.
Reminds me of a sit I had in Ohio last year. I was up in the tree early, close to some crp bedding. I check my phone at noon and my cellcam gets a pic of a nice buck at last light the night before in a different location on the edge of a swamp. I switch it up that evening fast....no luck.

My season runs from early September until January 1st. I sit five to six hours every time I go out. That is why I bought a JX3 Hybrid and not a minimalist saddle

Last year I had approximately 10 or 11, 6+hr sits, I guess that constitutes "Sometimes" in the whole picture of 50+ hunts
Agreed, me too & I went w/ sometimes as well. Our season is early September to end of January. My all day sits are between 12-15 & the rest are morning or evening (close to 6 hrs but not typically over)

I do all day sits from the end of October til mid November. Unless something along the way dictates otherwise.

I think now that I'm a professional saddle hunter I'll have more time to hunt longer. lolol I always scheduled my hunts around work. Now my work is saddle hunting. :) Who's jealous of that job title? I need to go update my profile on here.

Are you trying to promote jealousy? LOL I’m jealous

Between family and work I don’t take many opportunities to hunt. Most hunts are spur of the moment. Occasionally I might sit for 5 or so. The reason I got a saddle was to maximize the time that I do have.
