So through good luck and fortune I've been blessed with 2 all day hunts Friday and Saturday! I have two possible locations in mind that I scouted this spring and looked amazing. Both will be good for the wind. My only issue is that I never picked out trees to hunt from when I was scouting....

1:This one in the timber that has a multi-year rub/scrape line that comes from a bedding area.

2:This is a little more open and has multiple scrapes in a 20X40 yard opening that's in sort of a natural funnel.

The more open area I can almost drive up to to check the scrapes, should I check, or keep it fresh? I could also set up my sticks/platform tomorrow at lunch and let it set for a couple of days so I can go in before dark on Friday.
Or keep it fresh and go in blind before dark, or go in 9-10am and stay till dark so I can be extra quiet/selective?

My initial thought is to keep it fresh, go to the more open spot on Friday at 9 so I can be sneaky. If the area doesn't look fresh with sign, I can still head to my other spot.

Thoughts?
