What I am talking about is bucks with 1 beautiful 4, 5, 6, or even 7 point side, and then just 3, 4, or 5 odd points on the other side often without a main beam! I have only hunted in Kansas for 2 years, but in that time I have seen far more odd racks than all of my 30 years of bow hunting in several other states. Below is an example. Young deer with lots of potential, just a wild rack!

I’ve seen it a lot actually... here is a young one I got on camera often last year.

I'm in Southern Nebraska and I've gotten about 4 different young bucks on cam that have similar stuff going on with their head gear too...

That’s a pretty slick rack!
He is the one coolest rack bucks I have ever shot. Really tight narrow rack, heavy mass, split brow, main beams touched in velvet, they actually cross in the front and the crab craw! He scored 136 4/8”, but I loved the character. My best is quite a bit larger, but he is one of my coolest bucks!

I live in southern Maine along the coast and have hunted the salt marshes around my home for over 40 years. I have seen and killed quite a few bucks like this also. It doesn't seem so prevalent in the rest of Maine but I have noticed it here. Maybe something to do with nutrition or lack there of in the soil?

I've noticed crazy racks in the marshes too, I think tight quarters and inbreeding play a factor.
