I am considering trying one but before I invest $40 plus shipping I would like to hear from someone that has used one.

Did it work for you and did it hold up? Was it worth the $40?

Thanks
Gil

Are you having problems from hip pinch? Have you tried different bridge and tether lengths? I found after lengthening my bridge it became really comfy.

I did have a problem at first using an ESS saddle. Since then I have gotten the Lock Down saddle and lengthened my bridge which helps a lot. I got the Lock Down, because I want to climb and hunt with my rappel rope instead of a tether. I am 70 years old and if I have to get down in a hurry, that is one less brain fart for me. The ESS is not made for pouches as far as I am concerned.

Looking at the G3D it looks like it would be very comfortable. I am going to just make one the same length to try to see if it really does make any difference. The only time I get any hip pinch is when twisting and bending down to retrieve my Big Bob one stick. Also if I twist far while leaning.

I put out the same question on other sites also and I haven't found anyone that uses it.

I have no idea what you mean by JX3.
Come to the light, the JX3 tree saddle light..............
Don't be afraid, you will sit from dark to dark very comfortably, no fidgeting, be able to snooze when you want, no dreaded hip pinch, no back aches, you can shoot 360° around the tree with any weapon, bow or gun, no weak side shot.
No platform required, only a ROS, or a JX3 wide top climbing stick, no sore feet, no knee pads required, no sore knees, no tired legs from leaning as you can sit all day, built in pack frame for carrying all your needs. No getting into “saddle shape” as your Lazy Boy at home does it for you. Buy once, cry once.

I have one and I like it. Makes the saddle marginally more comfortable and helps me sit still. Worth $40? Sure

I made a homemade version of the hip pinch eliminator to try out and it worked very well. Then I played around with the adjustments on my CGM Cobra and found I didn’t need it. My daughter mostly uses my homemade version now.

I lengthened my bridge which helped. If I find I think it would help for an all day sit I am just going to make one also. I was going to take a piece of an old broom handle and notch it on each end. That will cost me $0.

I have one and use it for any sit over 3 hours. Saddle set up + bridge length and tether angle are more important to me, but the HPE helps add a bit of comfort.

Do what I did, take a PVC pipe drill a hole slightly smaller than your rope on both ends about 1" from the end. Cut a slight V shape at the end to the hole. Does the same thing as the G3D. If you want to break it in half for packing just add a connector in the middle. Put camo tape over the pipe to make it look good and sell it to another hunter for $20.
