Glow Paint/ lone wolf rope mod or amsteel

Ordered some glow paint off Amazon. Believe it was linked from one of DIYSportsman's videos. Anyone here used it before and was it worth the mod? Also looking to do either the rope mod or amsteel on my lone wolf sticks. Would anyone have any suggestions on either rope size or amsteel size? I've seen everyone using 1/4" for the beast sticks but wasn't sure if the same size amsteel would work on a lone wolf button.
