Good day Bunny hunting in IN with my boy

Nice job!

I went out to IN deer hunting and it was driving me crazy looking at all the places to turn my beagles loose.

No doubt. I like to fry them at lunchtime in hot grease just long enough to brown them good, pull them out and make gravy then put the fried rabbit in a crock pot and cover with the gravy. Eat em for supper with some catheads.
 
That’s a tailgate full there buddy.Very few things as fun as running a rabbit with dogs.I love it and run and train hounds all year round,I have pups in my running pen right now.They should start this week.Always exciting to start new pups
 
So happy for you to be able to do that with your son! I grew up hunting rabbits with beagles before we even had deer in our part of the state. You could hunt in any direction till you got too tired back then with no permission issues. Sadly, due to lack of land and no one with dogs, I have not been in 30 years and neither of my sons got to experience that fun hunting growing up.

Looks like a great day and even better one to be out there with your son I remember my boys eyes when he went with me for the first time and heard them start running one to us!
