I was super excited when a guy at work told me about guide fitter. I hopped on there and saw all the great companies he was talking about as well as some of the steep discounts. However when checking out the shipping prices are insane! I went to buy a pack of lighted knocks and with shipping it came out to more than the store! Has anyone found a way around the crazy shipping costs they charge ?

First rule of Guidefitter: Don’t talk about Guidefitter.
More seriously, shipping has gone through the roof everywhere. Several times a year companies will post free shipping. If you are on GF also check out ExpertVoice and Outdoorprolink.

Guide fitter has always had steep shipping costs but it varies with the brand. Some are normal rates while others, like you mentioned, are through the roof. FYI I did the same thing with nocturnals on there, it’s the same price as Amazon prime.

I agree, it just depends on what the manufacturer dictates. I’ve had great luck ordering from expertvoice & guidefitter. But ALWAYS check internet pricing before buying.
Also, Tethrd is live on GF now.

Tethrd, is even better on guidefront than their discounts. They posted on GF the day my new saddle arrived. I got everything else on camofire, GF you gotta be careful and be willing to wait, I get my vortex gear through GF shipping can be 6 weeks easy. Also they sell a lot of things that don’t exist and you are actually buying a back order.

Tethrd one sticks are more expensive on guidefitter (due to shipping) which is completely ridiculous.

I want to purchase through sites like these, but when I get down to the actual price I get frustrated and don't buy.

That’s super strange since the price of the stick is no different

Some sites are steep in shipping due to the automatic calculation. The actual shipping is much less on many items. Some are better at refunding the difference than others.

Their stick is not discounted anywhere. Also I didn’t like it when I tried it out. The steps were awkward as hell. Did some turkey scouting this weekend using a hawk stick setup for be sticking.
