H2 Triad Bridge

Very good ideas here.

I wonder how well the prussic on the the bridge loops stays put from hunt to hunt? Once you unweight it, does it stay put during the walk in/out of the woods, or would you have to fine tune it's location for each hunt.

I just do not see the need for an adjustable bridge, besides the time it takes to find what length you like/need. Once you figure that out, why would you need to change it? One more thing to fail in my opinion. I could be 100% wrong! I did just put a pushing daisies adjustable amsteel bridge on an old prototype TL just to check it out. So maybe later today I will feel differently.

I never hunted two trees that are the same. I like an adjustable bridge for tuning in on a tree.
When using spurs to climb, lengthening the bridge sure helps when taking them off and putting them back on while at height.
When climbing DRT, an adjustable bridge sure is nice to get it nice and short for the climb up and the rappel down.

gotcha makes sense! I hopped into a tree for a few minutes yesterday after work to test it out. Personally I do not see adjusting it much, but I am used to a fixed bridge

Received my triad bridge today and if I’m being honest, first impression isn’t that good. Just seems pretty thrown together from a neatness standpoint. Could be very easily made. Not sure what brand of “Amsteel” it is but it’s much stiffer than the name brand amsteel that I have. Functionally I see nothing wrong with it tho

I don’t think it is amsteel but some other kind of dyneema.

Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE, UHMW) construction. Which is fine
So the web site says

All H2 ropes look second class but more economical . I ordered the same bridge. I can always build a second amsteel one

I agree. I just couldn’t remember the generic term dyneema thus the reason I wrote it the way I did hoping the point was made
