Hawk hangout on sale diy platform

I think I’m going to modify mine to get rid of the ratchet strap. I don’t like the plastic clip and you have 2 really crank it down. I’ve ended up using a strap on the bottom as well. I’m also trying to find different “teeth” to dig into the tree better. Mine is very quit though even in wet conditions

Lone wolf sells their standoffs for $10 a piece that’s what I plan on doing when I get mine

I have had one for a while and recently played with modifying it. First thing I did was move the seat to the bottom of the post. You loose the flip options but seemed to make the side pressure more sturdy. I Work at a school and was talking to the shop teacher about making new tree brackets with our plasma cam that we can replace and weld on to it.

I also thought about buying another and seeing if I can add a plate to the seat to make a platform that will work on WEI steps like a perch.

Id like to see some pics of that!

I'd like to see some pictures too! But remember this is a cheaper alternative so putting to much money is not a good idea cause of the martial being thin steel, It will probably rust after awhile.
